ABOUT US
St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church, Malta

Welcome to the St Thomas Syro Malabar Community, Malta—a Catholic Christian community deeply rooted in the virtues, values, traditions, and the love of God.
Malta, a historically rich island nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, has long been a beacon of faith and resilience. Located just south of Italy, Malta joined the European Union in 2004, yet its spiritual history dates back centuries. Central to this heritage is the arrival of St Paul, who brought the Gospel to Malta and through his evangelical works, instilled the enduring faith of Christ on the island.
Inspired by this legacy of unwavering devotion, the St Thomas Syro Malabar Community was born. Anchored by the faith brought forth by St Thomas the Apostle and enriched by the Syro Malabar traditions, we strive to live out the teachings of Christ, nurture a vibrant spiritual life, and uphold the values of unity, love, and service.
We are proud to celebrate our faith and culture in the beautiful land of Malta, sharing the light of Christ with our community and beyond.
